After our story about the suspension of 'individual learning accounts', we have now heard that the Paymaster General, Dawn Primarolo has said that there will be no change in the 5% expense allowance that companies receive now.
ILA's were established some time back and were unfortuanately 'abused', and therefore have now been suspended.
This will certainly effect many people as they use the service as an extra training expense. The Revenue was however not expected to change any legislation or allowances when the appeal against the Judicial Review was coming up so soon.
The appeal has now been moved some time back to the 4th of December 2001.
