Australian IR35 gets reaction.

Recruiters in Australia have said they are to run a political campaign in an attempt to change the discriminatory laws that affect contractors in Australia.

All IT industry workers were asked to lobby their local MP's, for changes to the tax legislation.

The tax that affects the Australian contractors is of a similar nature to IR35, in that it targets only a small sector of the workforce, namely the IT contractor.

It says that if a person earns more than 80% of their income from one source, they are to be taxed the same as an employee.
