Revenue denies contractors to be targeted

The Revenue has come out defending itself after being seen as targeting contractors for tax penalties, rather than all workers.

In an article written by Adrian Marlowe of Lawspeed Accounting a prediction is made that The Revenue will be focusing on the contractors and that the penalties that will be faced by them will be extremely high.

The Revenue therefore had a spokesperson make a statement saying that they would in no way target only contractors and that contractors would be treated exactly the same as any other tax payer.
