On Dec 31st the Sunday Times published an article written by Eben Black, the Chief Political Correspondent of the Sunday Times. The article was titled "Brown wants to see 250,000 new firms". This article was in conjunction with the article authored by Gordon Brown also appearing in the Sunday Times, titled "In search of an American spirit of enterprise"
Eben states
"In an article for The Sunday Times, Brown sets out his plan for cutting business taxes and
rates to encourage people to set up new firms."
A gem from Gordon Brown...
"...with tax incentives and other financial measures, the 2001 budget and our next election
manifesto will offer greater incentives to business, remove unacceptable barriers that
prevent people with enterprise getting on..."
